Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ExpandLabs' website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

Services Description

ExpandLabs provides professional web design and development services for small businesses in Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas. Our services include:

• Custom website design and development
• Mobile-responsive web solutions
• Portfolio and business websites
• E-commerce website development
• AI automation integration
• Website maintenance and support

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on ExpandLabs' website for personal, non-commercial viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software on our website
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or mirror the materials on any other server

Client Responsibilities

When engaging our web design services, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information necessary for project completion
• Respond to requests for feedback and approvals in a timely manner
• Provide all required content, images, and materials for the website
• Make timely payments according to the agreed payment schedule
• Ensure they have the legal right to use all materials provided to us

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in individual project agreements. Generally:

• A deposit may be required before work begins
• Final payment is due upon project completion
• Late payments may incur additional fees
• Refund policies will be specified in project agreements

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment for services:

• Clients receive ownership of the final website design and content they provided
• ExpandLabs retains the right to display completed projects in our portfolio
• Any third-party tools, plugins, or frameworks remain the property of their respective owners
• ExpandLabs retains ownership of any proprietary code, tools, or processes developed independently

Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity, client responsiveness, and unforeseen circumstances. ExpandLabs will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed-upon deadlines but is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.

Revisions and Changes

Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in the project agreement. Additional revisions or significant changes to project scope may incur additional fees. Change requests should be submitted in writing.

Website Hosting and Maintenance

Unless otherwise specified, website hosting and ongoing maintenance are separate services from initial website design. Clients are responsible for arranging their own hosting or may contract with ExpandLabs for these services separately.

Disclaimer

The materials on ExpandLabs' website and our services are provided on an 'as is' basis. ExpandLabs makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• That our services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That defects will be corrected
• That our website or servers are free of viruses or harmful components

Limitations of Liability

In no event shall ExpandLabs or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use our services, even if ExpandLabs or an authorized representative has been notified of the possibility of such damage.

Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date. ExpandLabs reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the client breaches these terms.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

Changes to Terms

ExpandLabs reserves the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the current version of these terms. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
